Inbox & notifications

The Inbox collects your notifications about issues: mentions, assignments and comments.

Mentions

When someone @-mentions you in an issue comment, you get:

• An inbox notification (with the comment text and a link to the issue).
• An email notification.

Assignments

When someone assigns an issue to you, it shows up in your inbox with the issue's title. Assigning an issue to yourself doesn't notify you.

Comments

You get an inbox notification for new comments on issues you created or are assigned to. If the comment @-mentions you, you get the mention notification instead, so you aren't notified twice. Your own comments never notify you.

Open a notification to read it in context and jump straight to the issue. Mark items read individually or all at once.
