1. Delete your account in the app
In the Deckbell app for Android:
- Open More → Settings → Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
- Enter your password. If your account has no password, choose Email me a code and enter the code we send you.
- Choose Delete account again to confirm.
On the web, sign in at app.deckbell.com and use Settings → Profile → Delete account.
If you own a workspace that other people use, transfer its ownership or delete the workspace first. The app tells you when this is needed.
2. Ask us to delete it
If you can’t sign in, or prefer not to use the app, email support@deckbell.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We reply within one month, and may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, photo, position and department.
- Your sign-in methods: password, passkeys, Google sign-in link and two-factor settings.
- Your devices and push notification tokens, and your notification settings.
- Workspaces where you are the only member, with everything in them. Their paid plans are cancelled.
- Your usage analytics events, if any were recorded.
4. What is kept, and for how long
- Deleted data is erased from our systems within 30 days, and may remain in backups for up to 30 days more before it is overwritten.
- Messages, comments and issues you wrote in shared workspaces stay in those workspaces for your teammates, because they belong to the workspace. Its owner can delete them.
- Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate a security incident.
- Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
5. Delete some data and keep your account
- Delete your own messages from their menu in chat.
- Change or remove your profile photo and details in Settings → Profile.
- Sign a device out in your security settings, which also deletes its push token.
- Workspace owners can delete boards, or the whole workspace in Settings → Members.
