Reporting & blocking
Report a message, comment, issue, AI agent's output or person that breaks the rules, and block people so you don't see their messages.
If someone posts something abusive, spam or otherwise harmful, or an AI agent writes something misleading or harmful, you can report it. If you don't want to hear from someone, you can block them.
Reporting content
You can report anything someone else wrote. You can't report your own content.
- A message (including thread replies and replies from an AI agent): hover over the message (or tap it on a phone), choose ⋯ in its toolbar, then Report message. In the Android app, long-press the message and choose Report.
- A comment on an issue: choose ⋯ next to the comment, then Report comment.
- An issue: choose ⋯ at the top of the issue, then Report issue.
- An AI agent's output: open the agent run and choose ⋯ next to its title, then Report agent output. Agent replies in chat and agent comments on issues can be reported like any other message or comment.
- A person: hover over their photo to open their profile card, then choose Report.
Pick what's wrong: Spam, Harassment or bullying, Hate speech, Sexual content, Violence or threats, Self-harm, Illegal content or Something else. For something an AI agent wrote, you can also pick Misleading or harmful AI output. Add a note if it helps explain, then choose Send report. You'll see "Thanks. We've received your report and will review it."
What happens to a report
Every report goes to the Deckbell team, with a copy of what was reported, and we review it. Your workspace's owners and admins see it too, in Settings → Reports.
The person you reported isn't told who reported them.
Reviewing reports (owners and admins)
Settings → Reports lists the reports in your workspace, newest first: the reason, what was reported, an excerpt, who reported it, who it's about, and when. Choose Mark resolved once you've dealt with one. Switch between Open and Resolved to see either list.
Blocking someone
Open the person's profile card (hover over their photo) and choose Block, or choose ⋯ on one of their messages and then Block with their name. Confirm, and:
- Their messages are hidden from you in channels, threads and search, including ones already on your screen.
- Your direct messages with them are hidden.
- Their messages, mentions and comments don't notify you.
- They aren't told that you blocked them.
Issues and comments they wrote stay visible, so your team's work still makes sense. A block applies in every workspace you share with them.
Unblocking someone
Go to Settings → Blocked people and choose Unblock next to their name, or open their profile card and choose Unblock. Their messages and your direct messages with them show up again.
