1. Who we are
Deckbell is operated by Symprox Solutions, a company registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan (VÖEN 1009080171) with its registered office at Ecemi Naxcivani 26, Baku, Azerbaijan (“Deckbell”, “we”, “us”).
You can reach us at support@deckbell.com.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, joining a workspace or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use Deckbell on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Deckbell.
3. The Service
Deckbell is a project-management tool for engineering teams. It combines issue tracking (projects, issues, sprints and comments), team chat, and AI agents that can work on issues and reply in chat.
We are continually improving Deckbell, so features may be added, changed or removed over time. Some features may be labelled beta, preview or “coming soon”; these are offered as they are and may change or be withdrawn. If we remove a major paid feature, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
4. Accounts and workspaces
You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, a password, Google, or a passkey. You can also turn on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@deckbell.com straight away if you think your account has been compromised.
Please give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
Work in Deckbell happens inside workspaces. The person who creates a workspace, and anyone they make an owner or admin, controls it: they can invite and remove members, manage agents and integrations, change the plan, and delete the workspace and its content. If you join a workspace that belongs to an organisation, that organisation controls the workspace and the content in it.
5. Your content
“Your content” means everything you or your workspace members put into Deckbell: projects, issues, comments, chat and voice messages, uploaded files, agent instructions and similar material.
You own your content. You give us a limited permission to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display it only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to an AI provider when you use an agent). This permission ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to put it into Deckbell. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
6. AI agents
Deckbell agents use large language models to draft replies, work on issues and, if you connect a code repository, propose code changes. Please keep in mind:
- Output can be wrong. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or insecure. Review it, and review and test any code or pull request an agent produces, before you rely on it, merge it or deploy it. You are responsible for what you choose to use.
- Agents act with the access you give them. An agent can only use the repositories and content you attach to it. Grant only the access the agent needs.
- Your content goes to the AI provider. When you use an agent, the content it needs (for example, the issue and your instructions, or recent messages in a conversation with the agent) is sent to the model provider, currently Anthropic, so it can generate a response. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Bring your own key. If you attach your own provider API key to an agent, requests made with that key are also governed by your agreement with that provider, and the provider bills you directly.
Agent usage on Deckbell-hosted models draws on the AI credits or usage allowance of your plan, as shown on our pricing page and in the app.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Deckbell, or let anyone else use it, to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploits anyone;
- send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- disrupt or overload the Service, or get around rate limits, usage limits or security measures;
- use AI agents to generate content that breaks the AI provider’s usage policies, or to build a competing product from Deckbell’s output;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows it.
If you find a security issue, please report it to support@deckbell.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else.
8. Third-party services and integrations
Deckbell connects to other services that you choose to use, such as GitHub for repositories and pull requests, or Google for sign-in. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. When you connect one, you authorise us to exchange data with it on your behalf as needed for the connection to work. We are not responsible for third-party services, and they may change or stop working with Deckbell.
9. Plans, billing and payments
Deckbell has a free plan and paid plans. Prices, seat rules, AI credits and plan limits are shown on our pricing page and in the app. Paid plans are billed per seat, in advance, monthly or annually.
Paddle is our payment provider and merchant of record. Purchases are made from Paddle, which handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and refunds under its buyer terms. Deckbell does not receive or store your full card details.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your workspace moves to the free plan. Unless the law or Paddle’s terms say otherwise, we do not give refunds for partial periods.
- Seats. Seats added during a billing period may be charged on a prorated basis.
- Price changes. We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase applies to your subscription, and it takes effect at your next renewal.
- Late payment. If a payment fails and is not resolved, we may move the workspace to the free plan or limit paid features.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Deckbell and delete your account or workspace at any time from the app’s settings. If you need a copy of your workspace’s content first, contact us at support@deckbell.com.
We may suspend or close an account or workspace if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we have to by law, or if your use puts the Service, other users or us at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and retrieve your content.
After an account or workspace is deleted, we delete its content within 30 days, except for copies in backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis, and anything we must keep by law. Sections 11 to 14 and 16 continue to apply after termination.
11. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Deckbell available, secure and useful, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. Keep your own copies of anything important.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill; and
- each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
13. Indemnity
If you use Deckbell for a business, you agree to defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and the related costs, that arise from your content or from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be decided by the courts of Baku, Azerbaijan.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at support@deckbell.com so we can try to resolve the issue together. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live and to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the change is required by law or to address a security issue sooner. If you keep using Deckbell after the changes take effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and cancel your plan.
16. General
- These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or agreement you sign with us, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. A signed agreement wins if it conflicts with these terms.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean we give it up.
- You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over our business, and we will tell you if we do.
- Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
