1. Cancelling your plan
Workspace owners and admins can cancel in the app under Settings → Plan & usage, by choosing Cancel plan. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee. You choose when it takes effect:
- At the end of the billing period. Your plan keeps working until the period you have paid for ends, and you won’t be charged again. Until then you can change your mind with Keep my plan.
- Now. The workspace moves to the free plan straight away.
Either way, your workspace and its data stay: it simply continues on the free plan, with the free plan’s limits. Messages older than the free plan’s history window are hidden, not deleted, and come back if you upgrade again.
2. Free trials
Pro and Business start with a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Otherwise the first payment is taken when the trial ends, and the 14-day refund window below starts from that payment.
3. 14-day refunds
If you ask within 14 days of a subscription payment (a first payment or a renewal), we refund that payment in full. You don’t need to give a reason. If you also want the plan to stop, cancel it as described above.
After 14 days, payments are not refunded, including for the unused part of a billing period, unless the law requires it or Paddle’s buyer terms provide otherwise.
4. AI credit and call minute packs
Packs of AI credits or call minutes bought as add-ons can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of the pack has been used. Once some of a pack has been used, it can’t be refunded. Packs don’t expire, so there’s no need to use them up.
5. Changing plans and seats
- Moving up a plan (or from monthly to yearly billing) charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current period. The app shows the amount before you confirm.
- Moving down a plan can take effect at the end of the billing period, or right away, in which case the unused part of what you paid is credited to your next payments rather than refunded.
- Seats follow your active members. Adding people is charged on a prorated basis; removing them reduces your next payments.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email support@deckbell.com from your account’s email address with the workspace name and the invoice number (shown under Settings → Invoices and on your receipt). We reply within two business days.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so you can also ask Paddle directly using the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the law where you live, such as the right of consumers in the EU and UK to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Where the law gives you more, the law applies.
